Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association is to support law enforcement in Lakeway, Texas through education, information, networking, community service and volunteerism.

EDUCATION: To assist in promoting a high quality citizen academy in Lakeway; to stimulate education in the practices and procedures of the Lakeway Police Department; to foster interaction with other community support/enforcement agencies.

INFORMATION: To increase public awareness and police/community rapport.

NETWORKING: To develop closer contact among citizen academy graduates.

COMMUNITY SERVICE/VOLUNTEERISM: To support the volunteer and community service efforts of Citizen Academy Alumni members.
